Amboseli
1 Night

Day 1

06:00 – Departure from the hotel, drive towards Amboseli National Park
Drive through Nairobi towards Mombasa, towards Amboseli Park. The drive will take about 4 hours (240 km), with a toilet break and the opportunity to buy cold drinks, coffee, tea or souvenirs.

Amboseli
Amboseli Park, located on the Kenya-Tanzania border, is famous for its majestic views of elephant herds against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and its perpetually snow-capped peak, Kibo (5,895 m). The park owes its name to Lake Amboseli, which is a seasonal reservoir and remains dry for most of the year. In addition to the large herds of elephants, you can also see buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeests and giraffes. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 400 species, including vultures, herons, herons and eagles.

Optional: visit to a Masai village
On the way to the park there is an opportunity to visit a traditional Masai village.

Arrival and lunch
Arrive at your hotel/lodge for an early lunch. After a short post-meal rest, the first Game Drive in the park, full of opportunities to capture wildlife in your photos.

Evening – Dinner and overnight stay
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Early wake up and breakfast
After breakfast, departure for the morning Game Drive.

Morning Game Drive
Mornings are the best time to watch animals migrate to watering holes and enjoy the park at lower temperatures.

Departure from the park and return to Nairobi
After 24 hours from entering Amboseli Park, depart and return to Nairobi. Optional lunch break en route, depending on the time of day.
