Day 1
06:00 – Departure from the hotel
Drive through Mombasa on the route to Nairobi, with a toilet break and the opportunity to buy cold drinks, coffee and souvenirs. Drive to Bachuma Gate, the entrance to Tsavo East Park (approx. 120 km from Mombasa, travel time depends on road conditions).
Tsavo East
The park covers an area of 11,747 km² and is known for its pristine semi-desert terrain, covered with dry shrubs and acacia trees. The Galana River flows through the park, creating the picturesque Lugarda Falls and extends to the Yatta Plateau - the longest volcanic plateau in the world. The park is famous for its red elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and many species of birds (about 500 species).
First Game Drive
Safari around the park with an experienced guide who constantly communicates with other drivers in search of game.
12:00–13:00 – Accommodation and lunch
Arrival at the hotel/lodge, accommodation and buffet lunch. After the meal, a moment of rest with the possibility of using the pool.
16:00 – Afternoon Game Drive
When the temperature drops, go on a game drive to observe active animals until 6:00–6:30 pm.
Evening – Dinner and overnight stay
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel with a terrace overlooking wildlife.
Day 2
06:00 – Early breakfast and morning Game Drive in Tsavo East
Morning game drive then drive to Tsavo West Park.
Tsavo West
Together with Tsavo East it forms the largest national park in Kenya, with a total area of 22,812 km² (Tsavo West covers 9,065 km²). The park is known for its diverse landscapes – from hills, through rivers, lakes to forests. During the safari we will stop at the Mzima springs and visit the underwater observatory.
13:00 – Accommodation and lunch
Hotel accommodation and buffet lunch. After lunch, time to rest.
16:00 – Afternoon Game Drive
Another game drive to admire wildlife until 6:00–6:30 pm.
Evening – Dinner and overnight stay
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel, opportunity to observe animals from the viewing terrace.
Day 3
06:30 – Early breakfast and departure towards Amboseli National Park
A longer ride, lasting approximately 5–6 hours.
Amboseli
The park, located on the border of Kenya and Tanzania, is famous for its majestic views of elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, whose peak, Kibo (5,895 m), is covered in snow. The park offers the chance to meet buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeests and giraffes, and observe over 400 species of birds.
Lunch and Afternoon Game Drive
After lunch, a short rest, then a game drive around Amboseli, whose name means “salty dust” – it’s worth protecting your camera from dust.
Evening – Dinner and overnight stay
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
Early breakfast, check-out and transfer to Naivasha
Upon arrival, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Afternoon Boat Trip on Lake Naivasha
The lake is famous for its numerous birds: you can see African sea eagles, herons, pelicans, kingfishers and many other species. Hippos live in the lake, and on the shore you can often see zebras, hartebeests and impalas.
Evening – Dinner and overnight stay
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5
06:00 – Departure from the hotel in Naivasha and drive to the Maasai Mara Reserve
On the way, stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint.
Maasai Mara
Established in 1961, the reserve, covering an area of 1,800 km², is home to one of the wonders of the world – the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra across the Mara River. The reserve is also home to large numbers of lions, cheetahs and leopards.
12:00–13:00 – Accommodation and lunch
Accommodation and dinner at a selected hotel. After rest, waiting for the heat to subside.
16:00 – Afternoon Game Drive
During the game drive, the guide will search for animals, using his experience and contacts with other drivers. The game drive will last until dusk, around 6:00–6:30 PM.
Evening – Dinner and overnight stay
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6
Full day in Maasai Mara
The day is planned according to guests' wishes, with the possibility of observing the Great Migration (in the appropriate season) or a morning balloon flight.
Day 7
Early breakfast and check-out
Last game drive on the road out of the park, then return to Nairobi.
